DEPUTY RUIZ GRADUATES MONTGOMERY POLICE ACADEMY:
 
Today was a great day for the WCSO, and for a former corrections officer, who now has answered the call, and is now a certified peace officer in the state of Alabama. Deputy Manuel Ruiz celebrated his graduation, alongside members of the WCSO at the graduation ceremony in Montgomery, AL.
 
Deputy Ruiz brings several years of corrections experience, and has proven himself to be the consummate professional, and dedicated to any task he undertakes. Manuel is the definition of a public servant, and strives to find new ways to better serve the residents of Walker County. We know he will continue to be a valuable member of this Sheriff’s Office, and are glad to extend him this opportunity.
