FRONT SIGHT CIVILIAN FIREARMS TRAINING COURSE

We will start at the Sheriff's Office Training Center (located at the Highway 5/195 split or 645 Highway 195, Jasper, AL 35501) at 9:00am. We will then head over to the range as a group once the indoor portion has been completed.

The Civilian Firearm Safety Course is a certified course run at the Walker County Sheriff's Office range, by certified instructors. The classes are provided for civilians wishing to become more familiar with their firearm or wanting a better grasp of gun safety. You must be at least 18 years of age to participate. You must also possess a firearm prior to submitting the application below. This is a free course!

THINGS YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU ON RANGE DAY:
1. Water and lunch/snacks. Alabama is HOT. Y'all know this.
2.A PROPER holster that fits your firearm (Any version of a flimsy nylon holster is NOT a proper holster.)
3.EYE PROTECTION (NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ONTO THE RANGE WITHOUT EYE PROTECTION!)
4.EAR PROTECTION (NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED ONTO THE RANGE WITHOUT EAR PROTECTION!)
5. At least 50 rounds of factory-loaded ammunition for your firearm.
