The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of 9 investigators who handle cases involving Murder, Rape, Robbery, Burglary, Theft, Forgery, Identity Theft, Missing Persons, Death Investigations, Fugitives from Justice, Child Sex Crimes, identification and apprehension of criminals, recovery of property, identification and preservation of evidence, maintaining criminal records, and other special investigations ordered by the Sheriff.
