Every person deserves a space to exercise their rights and freedoms. Whether it be the right to speak freely, to practice their faith, or just to enjoy gathering with friends and family, there are places to exercise one's rights. Your WCSO is now offering the firing range to be used on a weekly basis, at no cost! We offer a 25 yard pistol range, and a 100 yard rifle range on most Saturdays, with a certified range officer on site. Open the last Saturday of each month, 8am-4pm. We ask that you fill the form below to allow us to adjust staffing accordingly.

The Range is located at 23706 Highway 118, Jasper, AL 35501 next to the Walker County Landfill and Humane Society.

SAFETY INFORMATION

When you come to the WCSO range, you’ll be greeted by the range master, who will review all the range safety rules and precautions and , if necessary, will guide first-time shooters through an orientation. The range master is an NRA certified firearms instructor that trains both civilian and law enforcement personnel.

**You must bring your own ammo, ear protection, and eye protection to be allowed onto the range.**
